1-maxresdefaultIt can make you feel terrible when your man isn’t paying enough attention to you. Often times, you will want to do things either to or for him so that he will stop what he’s doing and put his attention back on you. Unfortunately, sometimes doing this will make you look needy or controlling. Neither of these things are going to work to your favor. Instead of begging your man to pay attention to you, you should make him WANT to pay attention to you, by simply paying less attention to him. You could always join per these reviews as like this one written up here just make sure you find out if it’s a scam or for real before you do, you attention junkie!

Pay Less Attention to Him

2-toddler_pesteringWhen you notice he’s been paying less attention to you, one of the things you can do is give him a taste of his own medicine. Don’t whine or complain to him that you’re lonely or bored. This will only annoy him, and will probably lead to the two of you arguing. Instead, you should about your hobbies. Figure out things that you like to do, or things that you’ve been interested in and haven’t tried out yet. Focus your attention on those things. When you do, the fact that he isn’t paying much attention to you won’t be as obvious.

Eventually, he will notice that you aren’t paying as much attention to him either. He will then try to pull your focus away on what you’re doing, so that you will focus on him. Don’t allow him to do this. Give him attention on your time. If you stop what you’re doing to give him attention when he wants, he will start to believe that he has control over you. Make him realize what he’s doing by doing the same thing to him. The best part is that he will be a total hypocrite if he complains about it.

Show Him that Other People Value You

Another thing you can consider when your man isn’t paying enough attention to you is to show him that other people value you, and your attention. If you’ve slacked off on hanging out with friends, now would be the perfect time to pick it back up again. Join a group or a club, and make an effort to make it to the meetings. Make a tradition of having lunch with a former co-worker that you got along well with. When men see that there are other people out there who value you, and your time, they either become possessive, jealous, or envious. Each of these things should draw their focus back to you. But be careful if they’re going about it the wrong way. Sometimes men don’t always respond to jealously in ways that we’d hope.

Getting your man to put his attention back on you isn’t difficult. You simply need to make him come to the realization that you deserve his attention. Don’t nag him about paying attention to you. Usually it just backfires and causes arguments. Instead, make him realize how lonely he is when you’re not paying attention to him.

We’ve all got the things that we feel we need to survive. Many of those are the personal toiletries that make our lives more comfortable, functional, and easier overall. These become so engrained in our daily routines that it can be very difficult to give them up if ever we need to cut back on spending. But just because your bank account is running low doesn’t mean that you need to. There are ways out there for you to save money on things like razors and shampoos. It might take a little effort or extra thought, but when you check your receipts later on you’ll thank yourself.

Make It Yourself

Go Generic

Go Generic
Go Generic to save money
When you really don’t have the time to put into making your own stuff, you can always go the generic route. There will never be just one brand that makes what you’re looking for. Normally that brand will be advertised better or sit at a spot on the shelf that’s easier to see, but looking around reveals the truth. The store that you shop in has a product from their own brand that’s cheaper but does similar (if not the same) jobs as what you’re looking at. The best thing is that there are actually a few different generic brands that are vying for your attention, so they’re trying to go as cheap as possible.

If you can manage to use some of those generic brands to buy things like cotton swabs and toothpaste in bulk you could find that you’re saving even more money. Stuff like this doesn’t go bad so you can continue using it over long periods of time.

Samples Galore

The great thing about companies is that they’re always trying to get you to use their samples. If you go to makeup stores they’ll stick something in your bag to try out. This isn’t just for women, either. There are plenty of face washes, soaps, shampoos, etc. that they make for guys. Even shaving supplies can come in tiny testers for you to use. The next time you’re in a mall go through a few stores and check out some products that you’d like to try. If you can’t seem to commit to buying it then the clerk might offer you a sample of it. If they don’t you can still ask if they’ll give you one. The worse they can say is no. Big cosmetic stores that carry fragrances will also often have samples that they can create for you, so for those indulgent products like cologne you can still manage to get it for the cheap.

Try Subscriptions

Toiletries SubscriptionsIf you find that you’re spending more money on shaving cream or makeup then you normally should be, curb yourself with subscription services. There are subscriptions for makeup, basic toiletries, shaving paraphernalia, and even fragrances out there that cost a fraction of the price while giving you decent sized samples. The way they can do this is by giving you the leftover samples from a group of companies. Since these luxury samples may not be enough to send to their namesake stores, the company sells them for a cheap price to the sub service and you buy it for a set fee per month. Most range from $10-$25 a month and come with coupons that you can use later on. These types of boxes or bags often contain products that you may have never heard of or thought to try before. Sometimes they could end up being cheaper than the alternative that you’ve been using so hopefully you’ll be able to save even more money that way.

The Real Cost of Regular Checkups with Your Doctor

No one likes going to the doctor’s office, and many of us avoid it due to the expenses that we rack up whenever we step foot into a hospital. A doctor’s checkup can feel like a waste of time, especially if the result is that there is nothing wrong with you. A lot of people don’t even go to the doctor’s when they feel sick, and prefer to tough out their problems rather than pay a huge fee. But is it better to go to the doctor and pay up immediately, or to wait until you have a big problem and pay for it then? Here are some incentives to go to the doctor’s office more frequently, and some alternative practices that are cheaper than a checkup.

Checkups Cost

The older you get, the more you should see your doctor
The older you get, the more you should see your doctor
A regular physical should take place once every two to three years if you are under thirty five, Once every two years if you are older than thirty five and younger than fifty, and once every year if you are over fifty. The older you get, the more often you should go see the doctor, to make sure that you aren’t developing any of the health conditions that are associated with age. That way, you might catch any ailment before it gets too serious. You should also visit the doctor any time you feel any discomfort that lasts for longer than a week, like a cold or flu. The cost to come to the doctor’s office should be about fifty dollars if you have insurance, which can seem pretty expensive. However, not getting a regular checkup could be more costly for you, especially because you should only need a checkup once a year or less.

Emergency Room

Energency RoomsThe cost to go to the ER is significantly higher than making an appointment with your doctor. The costs of using the ER can be upwards of a thousand dollars, and an ambulance ride alone might cost $1200. Depending on your problem and your insurance levels, you might end up paying a lot of money for something that could have been prevented. Considering that a visit to your doctor is only about fifty dollars, it might be a better idea to schedule an appointment rather than heading off straight to the ER, especially if your problem isn’t life threatening.

Urgent Care

Urgent Care centers are significantly less expensive than your average emergency room, and it will cost you only about a hundred dollars to use the kind of facilities that an urgent care will provide. It is still less expensive to make an appointment with your doctor, but if your problem is truly dire going to an urgent care facility is a much better option than going to the ER.

Big Injury Bill

Regular Checkups Will Save You Long Term
Regular Checkups Will Save You Long Term
The cost of full blown cancer treatment annually is around 40 grand on the incredibly low side, and around 120 grand on the high side of the spectrum. Often times, when cancer gets to this point, it is nearly too late for the patient. Going to a yearly checkup can prevent the patient from allowing cancerous cells to grow within their bodies. In other words, by going to checkups for only 50 dollars annually, you could avoid spending up to a hundred grand each year you struggle with full blown malignant cancer. It’s the same thing for plenty of other diseases like heart disease and other preventable ailments that increase with age. Type II diabetes costs on average 11,700 dollars a year for each person who contracts it, and this disease is often times preventable with proper warning.

Going to the doctor for your yearly checkup, while annoying, is much, much cheaper than any of the alternatives. If you want to save yourself money, skipping out on going to the doctor’s office is not the way to do it. Save yourself a lot of pain and go see your doctor when you are scheduled to.
